The origin of the word Petrer comes from villa P\u00e9trea, which means villa or stony place, with a lot of stone. Adopting this idea the project arises from a rocky, massive stone&#8230;P\u00e9trea. One imagines the smells at night that a gallant gives off at night, the slight movement of the water and its sounds, the stars reflecting on the sheet of water&#8230;. after all, a place to relax, to enjoy,&#8230; a hidden garden for the senses.<span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> <div class=\"col one-half last\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"space\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col one-half\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col full-width\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gallardo-llopis.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/gallardo-llopis-arquitectos-alicante-vivienda-unifamiliar-petrer-maqueta-01.jpg\" alt=\"House project in Alicante - Gallardo Llopis Architects\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div> <div class=\"col one-half last\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col full-width\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gallardo-llopis.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/gallardo-llopis-arquitectos-alicante-vivienda-unifamiliar-petrer-maqueta-02.jpg\" alt=\"\u201dMaqueta\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col one-third first\"><h2 class=\"title\"><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">LIGHT AND SHADOW<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2><div class=\"text small-text\"><p>The project of this house in Alicante proposes a play of controlled lights and shadows. Shadows produced by the sculpted rock in the form of terraces that contrast with the large glazed cloths that allow visuals and the entry of light.<\/p>\n<p>A large skylight over the staircase gives mysticism to the communication with the lower part of the house as if it were a passage from one stratum to another of the rock. The light and the blue sky of Alicante penetrate through that skylight throughout all the project.<span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> <div class=\"col two-third last\"><\/span><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col full-width\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gallardo-llopis.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/gallardo-llopis-arquitectos-alicante-vivienda-unifamiliar-petrer-boceto-02.jpg\" alt=\"House project in Alicante -
